More shots of the TMNT, and with that, more angering visuals. Some more about these trailers after the jump.

Star Wars: Rebels – Trailer to Debut on May the Fourth
Although there are many little teaser trailers to the upcoming animated series, Star Wars: Rebels, on the Star Wars YouTube channel, there has yet to be a full trailer. As Star Wars Day is upon us, apparently it also brings with it the debut of the Rebels trailer! Be on the lookout on May 4th for that trailer, and a better look at how the latest Star Wars property is going to fare.
Who’s in Star Wars: Episode VII?
It’s like May the 4th came early. In a press release at the official Star Wars website, the entire principle cast was announced with plenty of familiar names, a few notable rising stars and some relative unknowns. We still have no idea what the story is or who the newcomers will play, and that’s where we step in. After the jump, we’ll break down the new cast, who they might play and look at some of the actors who are notably absent from the list.
The Screen Watchers Guild Podcast #81: Andrew Johnstone
From the 2013 LA Podcast Festival, we have found some previously lost audio files, and thus, more interviews! Paul was able to do some podcast talk with Andrew Johnstone, host of the podcast about podcasts, Podcast Squared. Podcast Squared recently ended, but it was great while it lasted. Check out past episodes of that, and be on the lookout for what Andrew will be working on next!
The Screen Watchers Guild Podcast #80: Dave Anthony
From the 2013 LA Podcast Festival, we have found some previously lost audio files, and thus, more interviews! In this episode, Paul caught a really quick interview with Dave Anthony, comedian and also a founder of the LA Podcast Festival! He was a busy man so we were really glad he could sit down for a talk, even if only for a few minutes!
Movie Trailer – Boyhood
Whether it’s through the eyes of some high school stoners or a middle age couple, director Richard Linklater has always been obsessed with coming of age stories and the inevitable passage of time (which he discussed in a wonderful video produced by Sight & Sound Magazine). In Linklater’s latest film, Boyhood, he takes those two story elements to the extreme to create one of the most unique films ever made. More after the jump. Continue reading “Movie Trailer – Boyhood”
These Are a Few of My Favorite Links – Vol. 1
While Paul has been hard at work diligently updating this wonderful blog, I’ve been doing nothing but aimlessly exploring the internet. Fortunately, it has not been an exercise in futility. I’ll be posting some of the best links the interwebs has to offer every week on our blog. Here are the fruits of my labor.

Movie Trailer – Bad Johnson
A man’s penis becomes a real boy. Need we say more? Sure. Rich Johnson wishes away his penis, and Nick Thune stars as the penis, now hell-bent on ruining any relationship that Rich Johnson (Cam Gigandet of Easy A and Twilight) might have that might redeem his former womanizing ways. The concept is bananas, but Nick Thune might just bring enough to it to make an enjoyable film.
TV Trailer – Crossbones
I’ve been mixed on about what to think about Black Sails. So when another pirate-themed show was set to debut, I was intrigued. John Malkovich stars as Blackbeard… er… Greybeard? John Malkovich is his usual crazy, charismatic self, but the rest of the cast does not do much in the trailer. I also cannot seem to get over the really bad cover of “Born to be Wild” that plays throughout. So Blackbeard was born to be wild. I’m not enthralled yet by the concept, but it is worth a look.

The year is 1985. Rad Miracle is a shy 13-year-old white kid who’s obsessed with two things: ping pong and hip hop. During his family’s annual summer vacation to Ocean City, Maryland, Rad makes a new best friend, experiences his first real crush, becomes the target of rich local bullies, and finds an unexpected mentor in his outcast next-door neighbor. Ping Pong Summer is about that time in your life when you’re treated like an alien by everyone around you, even though you know deep down you’re as funky fresh as it gets.
